Im a 'Haitian multi-talented artist and serial entrepreneur who began his career as an independent filmmaker in Hollywood. My best known work include Trapped: Haitian Nights starring Kenya Moore, Miguel Nunez. Jr. and Vivica A. Foxx, and Life Outside of Pearl, with Jimmy Jean Louis.
After several years in LA working in film, I have returned to east coast to pursue music — my latest creative venture. As an independent singer and songwriter, I'm inspired by hip hop, r&b, classical and Caribbean rhythms, which are all part of his eclectic mix of songs.
“I was experiencing some personal challenges, when my friend and producer Dany “Mozart” L’Aporte encouraged me to channel my focus to singing,” says Dezvelkito of what spurred his desire to become a recording artist.
“I was just thinking of scoring tracks for some of the film and TV projects I have coming down the line; but when he challenged me, I realized it was like God talking to me.”
